2、The difference between Silica Sol Casting and Water Glass Casting

Silica Sol Casting and Water Glass Casting are the two main investment casting methods at present.

Difference1: the surface roughness and the cost of casting

The Silica Sol Casting casts more but has a better surface roughness than Water Glass Casting.

Difference2: the method of dewaxing

The Water Glass Casting dewaxing method is to put the ceramic mold into high- temperature water, the ceramic mold is made of water glass quartz sand.

The Silica Sol Casting dewaxing method is to put the ceramic mold into the flash fire,the ceramic mold is made of silica sol zircon sand.

Except Silica Sol Casting and Water Glass Casting ,We can also offer Lost Foam Casting and Shell Mold casting as options for our clients .
